Llanddewi Brefi Village Hall Committee has received a grant of £9,300 from The National Lottery Community Fund to bring the community together through events and projects in and around the Hall, as part of the Jubilee celebrations. Ideas so far include a Bring your own Picnic, a small Community Orchard in commemoration of the Jubilee, and creating a Wild Flower Meadow area, but the final decisions will be based on suggestions and feedback.

Previous successful events have included a midsummer carnival and a summer fête with local organisations holding stalls and demonstrations. Our hope is that a year-long programme of events will engage the whole community and regenerate interest in the village hall and recreation ground as a community hub and focal point for social interaction.
