The community of Llanddewi-Brefi celebrated St. David’s Day on March the 1st by holding a Service at St. David’s Church followed by Cawl in the hall. Llanddewi-Brefi Community Council would like to especially thank Yvonne, New Inn and her team for preparing and serving the cawl. Thank you to Sandra Jones and Rev. Carwyn Arthur for leading the service in the Church, for the Officials of the Church for holding the Service at the Church and for members of the local Chapels around Tregaron for attending. Also, thank you to Caffi Dewi for serving the teas and coffees. Thank you to D Davies the Butcher Tregaron for donating the meat; Tesco Aberystwyth for donating the vegetables; Morrisons Aberystwyth for donating vegetables and cheese; Spar Tregaron for donating the bread; Tregaron Fruit and Vegetables Shop for donating the Daffodils and Halen and Pupur for the forks. Thank you to members of Llanddewi-Brefi WI for preparing the Welsh cakes and Llanddewi-Brefi YFC for preparing the Bara Brith. Finally, thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to ensure a successful event.
