Minutes of the Community Council Meeting held on 13th July 2015 at the Community Centre
Present:-
Councillors Maria Tofani (Chairman), Dafydd Lloyd-Jones (Vice Chairman) Emanuel Kincaid, Eirwen James, Mary Pearce, John Ll Griffiths, Gwynne Davies.
Apologies:-
1. Councillors Rhodri Evans and Cllr Ann Jones apologised for their inability to attend.

4. Minutes
On the proposition of Councillor Emanuel Kincaid and seconded by Cllr Mary Pearce the Council authorised the Chairman to sign the minutes of Community Council meeting held on 8th June 2015.
5. Matters arising from the minutes
1. It was decided that a letter be sent to Mr Blair Tanybryn regarding the Pound Garden explaining the situation.
6.1 Highways
6.1.1 Roads.
a. Road giving way at Ysgoldy Gogoyan.
b. Road widening Pant and Nantdderwen.
c. Pothole by Nantdderwen
d. 30m.p.h sign missing by Pantvilla.
6.1.2 Tree and Boundary Maintenance.
a. Fencing right hand side of Pont Llanio Hill.
b. Tree on Pont Llanio Hill.

6.3 Website
The Website is now running.
6.4 Car Park By-laws.
a. It was decided that the Council would ask Orwel Edwards to put a post in cement so that the Parking sign can be put there also sign for No fly tipping .
6.5 The Pound Garden
Area cleared and seat put in place there.
6.6 Standing Orders.
Chair will decide what is appropriate for the Council.
6.7 Financial Regulations.
A new budget has been drawn up by Chair and Clerk.

1. Cllr Mary Pearce attended a meeting to do with Cylch Caron.
10. Matters arising from Cerdigion
Nothing
a. Planning
Nothing at present.
11. Village Hall and Community Centre Trustees Committee.
The new secretary for the Hall committee is Sue Ryder. A request to use the Hall for a wedding in September. And there is a coffee evening to be held on 9th October.

13. Cemetery
Nothing to report.
14. Any other matter
14.1. It was decided to report that there is a pothole by Glenydd.
14.2. The Council have decided to buy a new lanyard for the Flag pole.
14.3. The Council have been informed that there are rats on Y Ddol field and Japanese knot weed. Request Ceredigion Environmental Health to deal with it.
14.4. The Council were informed that Organic waste has been tipped into the river.
14.5. The Chairman’s Chain has gone in to Rhiannon’s to be engraved with Chairperson name up to date.
