PUBLIC NOTICE

SECTION 14 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – U4090 FROM FFARMERS, LLANWRDA

CARMARTHENSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along that length of road known as the U4090 from Ffarmers, Llanwrda from a point 820 metres Northeast of its junction with the U4095 for a distance of approximately 740 metres in a North Easterly direction.

The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst BT Openreach carry out pole replacement works on Friday 13th March 2026 for a period of 1 day between 08:00 hours & 18:00 hours.
The Alternative Route for North Eastbound traffic will be via U4095 (Ty’n-Cornel to U4090), the U4101 (from Ffarmers), the C1293 (Cellan), U1660 (Llanfair, Clydogau), U1656 (Llanfair, Clydogau), U1655 (Llanfair, Clydogau), U1654 (Llanfair, Clydogau), U1519 (Esgair Garn), U1518 (from Llanddewi Brefi to county border) and the U4090 (from Ffarmers).
Vice versa for South Westbound diverted traffic.

Pedestrian movement will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
