Draft Minutes of the Community Council Meeting held on 12th July 2021 on Zoom. These draft minutes are published in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021, and are subject to approval at the next meeting of the Community Council.

On the proposition of Councillor Enfys H. Davies and seconded by Cllr Lynet Pugh the Council passed the minutes for 14th June 2021.

(a) Notice for co-option advertised.
(b) The Clerk informed the Council that she was retiring. The Clerk vacancy was discussed. Maureen Davies was thanked by the Chairman and Councillors for her 25 years of service as Clerk to Llanddewi Brefi Community Council.
a. Road widening Pant and Nantdderwen.
b. Work to be done on Quar Road. Trenches need to be cleared. Top of bridlepath meets Quarry road Gully.
c. White lines on junction by Ardwyn.
d. Road needs resurfacing between Bear House and Bethesda Chapel.

Cllr Emmanuel Kincaid reported on a meeting with One Voice Wales.
10. Matters arising from Ceredigion
It was reported that the phosphate directive is causing big issues when it comes to determining planning applications within the river Teifi catchment area.
11. Village Hall and Community Centre Trustees Committee
Work is ongoing to try and open up in September, in accordance with Covid restrictions.
12. Ysgol Henry Richard 3-16
The Cylch Meithrin development is a ‘wrap around’ facility attached to Ysgol Henry Richard. It was reported that numbers of pupils at the school were increasing.
The school are putting on a video of Peter Pan on School YouTube on Thursday.
The Chain around the Monument needs repairing.

- Dog fouling around the village.
- Goal posts at Hyfrydle and up by the Hall.
- Logging lorries speeding through the village and need to secure their load.
- Recycling bin needs emptying
