1. To elect a Chairman for the Council Year 2024/25.
2. To elect a Vice-Chairman for the Council Year 2024/25.
3. To receive the Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
4. To consider and approve the draft Annual report of the Council for the year 2023/24 (To be e-mailed to members prior to the meeting).
5. To receive declarations of personal and personal/prejudicial interests.
6. To appoint Committees and Working Parties:
a. Hall Management Committee.
(All members of the Council to be in membership with the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Council holding these respective positions).
b. Biodiversity Working Party (Duty under s6. Environment (Wales) Act 2016) (Currently Councillors E Kincaid, Rh Evans, and E James).
7. Appointment of Representatives.
a. One Voice Wales Area Committee (Currently Councillors E Kincaid and E James).
8. Appointment of four Trustees to the Fuel Allotments charity (Charity number: 500142).
9. Rates of Remuneration.
To review the following:
a. Chairman’s allowance.
b. Members allowances.
10. To Review the Fixed Assets Register (Register attached).
11. To determine whether a review of Standing Orders and Financial Regulations is required.
12. To determine whether a review of the Council’s complaints procedure is required.
13. To Review the Council’s Risk Assessment Register (2023/24 Risk Assessment Register attached).
14. To Review the Council’s Insurance Arrangements.
15. To Review the Council’s procedures and policies in connection with its obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR).
16. To Review policies for Safeguarding and Volunteers.
17. To Review the Council’s Grants Policy.
18. To Review the Council’s employment policies and procedures.
19. Review of the Council’s expenditure incurred under s.137 of the Local Government Act 1972.
20. To Review the Statutory training plan.
21. To Determine the time and place of ordinary meetings of the full Council up to and including the next annual meeting of full council.
